Sweet dreams :)

I don't need to introduce Omar to you anymore. You may have already heard about this 15-year-old boy and his story in reports from previous trips. Omar suffers from severely mental disability and severe epilepsy. Physically, he is also not in the best condition. He needs long-term, regular medication. The ZACYDO team approached us with a request to pay for additional doses of necessary medication and to purchase a mattress. Omar has spent his entire life falling asleep and waking up on the floor. Even in the tropical paradise of Zanzibar, it can get quite cold at night during the winter (our summer). A cold, hard floor is simply not a good place to sleep. We were happy to comply with this request and decided that instead of just buying a mattress, it would be better to get a bed as well. Omar was happy! And I firmly believe that he now sleeps sweetly at night. He deserves it :).
